Sunday was a hectic day but turned out just the way I hoped. The images have turned out beautifully and so reflect the love, hard work and passion that has gone into making Candy Queen Store a distinctive kids wear brand.
We arrived at our location, Stateside Diner around 6.30 pm. Jade our photographer glamourously breezed in looking fresh as a daisy after being up since 6 am shooting another brand Di Alta Classe.
Our Candy Queen models Sophia, Josie and Lilly were lil troopers, it was a long night and I didn’t hear a moan or groan from any of them….good job they had lashings of milk shakes and sundae’s to keep them going!
Kari from Style My Baby London did a truly magnificent job styling the shoot by meshing the colours and accessories, bringing the range together perfectly. I really would of struggled without her!
Work on the new website and brochures is underway while we are waiting for the delivery of our new range.
As every designer and buyer knows, problems occur and dates change with manufacturers so I’ll be keeping everything crossed that the range arrives on the scheduled dates between 16th – 21st June.

Candy Queen Store is a British girlswear label based in North East England specialising in girl’s fashion for 5-to-12-year-olds.
We’re currently seeking models aged 7-to-8-years-old to represent the 2012 range. Models must be available during the Easter holidays for a one-day photo shoot and live in the north east area.
